located about 45 minutes from Blairsville, provides a range of
challenging rapids. Utilized as a 1996 Summer Olympics kayaking
venue, the gorge offers breathtaking views and is fun to visit.
Excellent fishing can be found at area lakes. Trout fishing is
popular, with approximately 60 miles of designated trout streams
flowing through the national forest.
