Brasstown Valley No longer a secret, the 18-hole championship golf course was named among Golf Digest magazine's top places to play.

Logan Turnpike Mill We are George and Cecilia Holland and we would like to welcome you to the Logan Turnpike Mill. We purchased the mill in 1986 from George and Becky Rogers. Their love of antique mills and fresh ground grains we found irresistible. We bought an old homestead on the banks of the scenic Nottely River on 19/129 south of Blairsville. We opened our mill/store to the public in 1995. The demand for our products increased and our mail order business grew. Our customers then asked us to expand to the Internet so they could order online.

Nora Mill Granary is an operational gristmill sitting alongside the Chattahoochee River in the foothills of the North Georgia Mountains that stone grinds and produces all kinds of corn and wheat based products such as grits, corn meal, pancake & waffle mixes, flours, biscuit & bread mixes, pioneer's porridge, and the like. In addition, we have an old-fashioned country store & gift shop that we have named "Nora Mill Next Door," that is stocked with thousands of new items and even has a large kitchen built just for cooking & serving samples of our mill & store products.

Union County Historical Society and the Old Union County Court House The Union County Historical Society was established February 11, 1976 as a non-profit organization open to all persons interested in the history and heritage of Union County, Georgia. The Society is deeply indebted to the many volunteers who have supported the work of the society and to the many people who have contributed items for the museum. All museum exhibits are of Union County or North Georgia origin and it is one of the finest county museums to be found.

John C. Campbell Folk School John C. Campbell Folk School provides experiences in non-competitive learning and community life that are joyful and enlivening. Located in scenic Brasstown, North Carolina, the Folk School offers year-round weeklong and weekend classes for adults in craft, art, music, dance, cooking, gardening, nature studies, photography and writing.

Appalachian Trail is located just south of Blairsville on Hwy 19/129 S about 2 miles past Vogel State Park. Located at Mountain Crossings at Walasi-Yi. The only place where the Appalachian Trail passes through a building.
You can also access the Appalachian Trail from Hiawassee just off Hwy 76 E towards Clayton.

Helton Creek Falls From the small parking lot on Helton Creek Road head to the right to find the trailhead, marked by a simple sign and arrow. This trail descends quickly to a mountain cove fed by Helton Creek rich with moisture-loving plant life. Many of the improvements in this area date back to the work done by the Civilian Conservation Corps. As the treadway climbs the improvements are more modern, a boardwalk carrying hikers over fragile riverine zones. Stairs on the left descend to the bottom of the falls, where a viewing deck offers an excellent place to watch the first falls, commonly known as Lower Helton Creek Falls. These wide falls wash over a ledge before cascading down an easy slope about 30 feet into a small pool below the falls with a roar that can be heard almost to the road.

DeSoto Falls Take U.S. 129 north from Cleveland, 15 miles till you reach DeSoto Falls Recreation Area.

Trahlyta Directly below Lake Trahlyta in Vogel State Park is a stepping stone waterfall. Go south from Blairsville, Union County Georgia on US 19/129 for eleven miles. Just before the entrance to Vogel State Park on the right is a one lane pullover where you can view the falls from above.
